In the days leading up to the monster storm's landfall on Wednesday, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) found cells of the Karenia brevis organism that causes red tide at two water sampling points close to Panama City and Mexico Beach where the storm swept ashore. |

So far, two people have died as a result of the storm. Nauman Hussain, 28, was arrested and arraigned on Wednesday evening on one count of criminally negligent homicide with 20 names, a New York state police spokeswoman confirmed to AFP. Hussain's father, who is in Pakistan, owns the Prestige Limousine company and is also thought to be under investigation. |
