Mexico condemns Border Patrol shooting of teen (AP)

Posted: 10 Jun 2010 04:53 PM PDT

This series of frame grab images, arranged chronologically from left to right, taken from video made available by Univision, shows a view from the Mexican side of the U.S.-Mexico border, near a railroad bridge connecting Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas, during a confrontation on Monday June 7, 2010. The incident involving the U.S. Border patrol, entering at left in the first two frames, and detaining a person in the third frame, also involved the shooting and killing of 15-year-old Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereka, not shown. The killing of the Mexican by U.S. authorities, the second in less than two weeks, has exposed the distrust between the two countries that lies just below the surface, and has enraged Mexicans who see the death of the boy on Mexican soil as an act of murder. The last frame shows additional members of the U.S. Border patrol arriving at the scene.
