(Reuters) - Searchers found an assault rifle and ammunition hidden in the woods on the ninth day of a massive hunt for a man suspected of attacking two Pennsylvania state troopers, killing one of them, police said on Sunday. The five men, three of whom were accused of attempted murder, escaped on Friday shortly after 9 p.m. from the Madera County Jail, about 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Fresno.
