Man pleads guilty in Seattle terror plot (AP)

AP - A mentally ill petty thief pleaded guilty Thursday to federal charges that he joined another man in planning to attack a Seattle military recruiting station with machine guns and grenades — a plot inspired by the 2009 massacre at Fort Hood, authorities say.

AP - A 27-year-old German man was arrested Thursday by a police special-ops team in the western city of Bochum on charges he was part of an al-Qaida bomb plot in Europe, the federal prosecutors' office said.
