Grand jury yet to weigh NY pipe bomb terror case (AP)

AP - A terror case against a man charged with plotting pipe bomb attacks on police and soldiers has yet to go to a grand jury nearly two months after his arrest, and prosecutors and his lawyer are allowing more time before authorities seek an indictment, his lawyer said Friday.

AP - A judge on Thursday threw out a former State Department official's lawsuit demanding diplomatic immunity against charges she helped kidnap a terrorism suspect in Italy but said the U.S. government's handling of the case sends a "potentially demoralizing" message to American civilians serving overseas.
