The rules would shorten the period between a union filing a petition to represent workers and an election, from the current median of 38 days to as little as 14 days. Employers would be required to share workers' names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses with unions. The National Labor Relations Board adopted the rules last year and they are set to take effect April 14.

The grandson of Getty oil founder J. Paul Getty, Andrew Getty, was found dead on Tuesday at his Los Angeles area home, the Los Angeles Times reported. The cause of death for Andrew Getty, 48, at his home in the Hollywood Hills section of Los Angeles was not immediately clear, the paper reported. A Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman told Reuters that detectives were conducting a death investigation at a home in the Hollywood Hills, where a man was found unconscious and not breathing.
