East Coast storm threatens Thanksgiving travel Posted: 26 Nov 2014 01:20 PM PST By Laila Kearney NEW YORK (Reuters) - A blast of rain and snow along the East Coast is threatening to snarl traffic and disrupt flights for millions of Americans at the start of the long Thanksgiving weekend, traditionally the busiest time of the year for U.S. travel. The nor'easter that formed over the Gulf of Mexico is expected to bring rain to cities including New York and Boston, while higher elevations of New England will see about a foot of snow, National Weather Service meteorologist Andrew Orrison said on Wednesday. Cleveland video shows police shot boy within seconds Posted: 26 Nov 2014 03:37 PM PST By Kim Palmer CLEVELAND (Reuters) - Cleveland officials on Wednesday released a video of the fatal police shooting of a 12-year-old boy that shows him pointing a pellet gun around a park before police arrive and shoot him within two seconds. Tamir E. Rice was shot by a patrol officer on Saturday after a 911 call reported someone pointing a gun at people at the Cudell Recreation Center. The caller said the gun could be a fake.
